The Path of Champions 2.0 Tier List
Eight Path of Champions enthusiasts rate every single power, support champion and relic
Hello and welcome to yet another document that is going to help you through your Legends of Runeterra journey, where we rate every single power, support champion and relic in the new Path of Champions 2.0.

The contributors
My name is ConanssonLoR. I’m the writer of the unofficial LoR rulebook, as well as other Path of Champions resources such as the decklist sheet for each encounter in Path 2.0. As a Master Constructed player, I enjoyed the new Path a lot and basically played through it in the first week as much as it was possible, and have beaten Galio plenty of times.
The other main person behind the list is YouuXun, a player that has spent enough time on TPOC 1.0 to beat everything, with all S badges, with all Champions, all of them maxed out, as you can see in this link to the relevant reddit thread, and has finished Path 2.0 multiple times while actually managing insanely difficult tasks like milling out the Poro encounter on the Nautilus map. YouuXun managed the rating procedure and made the final google doc much more readable.
As special guest from the Constructed scene we have Boronian, the Head Mod of the competitive LoR subreddit, who brings tons of experience from LoR as well as many other card games and is playing through Path 2.0 for fun.
The Head Mod of the Path subreddit, Archivisty, was sadly not available, but instead forwarded me to the Path of Champions team from the Rune Ally discord, which consists of Grimm, EvolvedTiger and PiginaWig who are all Path enthusiasts beating Galio countless of times, and can be called experts in this new gamemode.
The last two members of this project are LoLyouDied and MysteriousChallenger. They are both active in the main Legends of Runeterra discord and have been chosen because of their excellent comments and helpful behaviour towards other new players there. They’ve also played the gamemode a lot and have defeated Galio.
How to use the list:
After the description of what each power does, you can see our average rating of the power on a scale from 1 to 10, where 1 is the worst and 10 is the best possible. We each filled out this ratings separately from each other and then merged them together. Furthermore, you can see each contributor’s individual rating.
Note that these ratings are for general use and that you still have to adapt to whatever run you’re doing at the moment, especially later on when champions get items attached to them and their units.
If you scroll further to the right, you’ll find all of our notes and why we rated the cards the way we did. Writing notes was optional, but you’ll find a lot of helpful information in there.
Use the menu in the bottom left to navigate between the different pages, and use Ctrl. + F (or the search function on your phone) to find specific items.
The Best and the Worst
You might be wondering: what are the absolute best and worst Powers, Relics and Champs for Path of Champions, according to our rating?
Here they are for each category!
Best Power (10/10): Duplicate
“Wow duplicating everything.
This is literally game winning in both value and tempo.
Taking this just means you get two Illaois to bash the enemy nexus with.” - LolYouDied
Best non - legendary Power (9,25/10): Hold It!
“Reduces the number of the foe's units by 1, that's great” - EvolvedTiger
Worst normally obtainable Power (2,13/10): Counterfeit Copies
“Useable with Jinx for discard fodder” - Boronian
Our ratings for the “consolidation powers”:
“If 10 health can carry you through like 4 nodes, then you should reconsider your strategy” -PiginaWig
Best support champion (9/10): Aphelios
“THE best support champion in the game for almost every strategy. Aphelios has it all: removal, stuns, lifesteal, units...
Great combos with "Buffs are permanent", "Copy slow spells" etc. and the biggest weakness of not being able to deal with champions only matters vs bosses.
I've always picked Aphelios when I saw him and never lost a run with him.
Goat and Gifts are great utility cards.” - Conansson
Worst support champion (1,13/10): Pyke
“You can put efforts on building with the items on pyke or get the power, but thats too specific, sorry” - Grimm
Best Relic (8,5/10): Luden’s Tempest
“Literally can carry if you get enough of them. You can switch your gameplan entirely sometimes.” - YouuXun
Worst Relic (2,25/10): Guardian Angel
“Spending a slot on something that has no impact on your run until you lose is not a great plan. I'd rather take something that lets me lose less often” - MysteriousChallenger
And that’s it!
